It is our honor to be hosting the 24th Annual Harari Sports and Cultural Festival this year after 8 years! We welcome all Gey’usu around the world to come and celebrate with us from June 30 - July 7, 2019.

You probably have many questions as you prepare your visit to Dallas this summer and we hope to answer most of them in the coming months insha’Allah. Here is a handy checklist to make sure that you are prepared to make the most of your trip.

REQUEST A formal Letter of INVITATION

For individuals who require formal letters of invitations to obtain a Visa for travel to the United States, please fill out a form listing the traveler’s full name and an address to which we may deliver the letter. (NOTE: We can only deliver to United States and Canada, at this time)

Make Hotel Reservations

We have made accommodations at Tru by Hilton Garland Richardson (5055 N President George Bush Hwy, Garland, TX 75040). Receive a discounted rate by mentioning ‘Harari Community Event’ or book online using our special link!

Register for the Sports Tournament

Register as a team or as a free agent for Basketball, Volleyball, or Soccer. Registration is open now!

Pack right!

We’re not afriad to admit that Texas summers are hot. REALLY HOT. For days where we will be outdoors, dress appropriately with light, breathable materials like cotton or linen. Stay hydrated by keeping a water bottle handy. Also, don’t forget some SPF (sunscreen) to protect your skin.
